Do you deliver and set the shed?
YES! We have free delivery up to 40 miles from the dealer lot on off-lot sales, and up to 40 miles of ANY dealer location on shop builds. See dealer coverage area HERE. Our setup includes setting the building and leveled up to 8’’ using GROUND CONTACT PRESSURE TREATED (link to warranty info) wood blocking. If additional blocking is required, we ask that the needed blocking is provided as well as ready and available to the driver at time of delivery.
Can you move my building?
Yes, If you own a shed bought from Sturdi Built that needs to be relocated, we would be happy to connect you with our delivery driver to discuss details and pricing. Submit a move request HERE.
How do I make my monthly payment?
Payments can be mailed in, called in or made online. Auto-pay can be set up as well. Please know that you will receive a payment booklet in the mail as soon as your contract paperwork is received and processed by the main office, UNLESS you opt into making payments online.
How long until I receive my building?
If a building is purchased from a sales lot and already built, the delivery average is 3-5 business days after purchase. Custom ordered buildings will vary based on manufacturing shops’ current lead times for new builds, but we strive for a 2–3-week turnaround.
Do your buildings come with electricity?
We offer optional basic wiring packages that include a combination of a breaker panel, lights, and outlets. See available options HERE.
Can you build the unit in my backyard?
YES! We offer on-site construction if needed. The on-site build option is subject to an additional 25% builder fee. You will need to notify your dealer before you purchase if the site is not accessible by truck and trailer. If you are unsure if a delivery is possible, we are happy to do a site check. Please know that our delivery equipment and operators are very capable, so you may be surprised by our ability to get into tight or tough spaces!
Will Sturdi Built finish out my building?
We do NOT completely finish out any of our buildings. We offer interior options including electric packages, different types of insulation and interior wall framing, as well as interior wall covering/paneling. However, any further interior features such as plumbing, dry wall, and floor covering would need to be completed after purchase.
How do I make a warranty claim or repair request?
We take pride in our customer service AFTER the building purchase, and taking care of any issues with workmanship, material defects/ warranty issues is very important to us. Please submit a REPAIR/WARRANTY form HERE.
Will I get a better price if I purchase my shed online vs at the dealer?

Is any site preparation required prior to delivery?
Dirtwork is NOT required in most cases, our buildings are built and designed with 4×6 GROUND CONTACT PRESSURE TREATED(link to warranty info) runners to be set directly on the ground or set and leveled with provided GROUND CONTACT PRESSURE TREATED(link to warranty info) wood blocking, although 3’ is the MAXIMUM height that we recommend using blocking. Gravel or concrete pads are not required either, although that is up to your preference.
Is delivery an option outside of the free delivery range?
YES! We are willing to deliver to a much bigger range, there would just be an additional mileage charge added to the price of the shed. See our general coverage map HERE.
What Warranty Does my shed have?
All our new sheds carry a 5-year workmanship warranty that covers any defects in the craftmanship of the construction. We only use top quality materials and components, and most will also carry a manufacturer’s warranty on the individual product. See more warranty details HERE.
